A little about us ...
Speaking of Liberty was founded on Texas Independence Day (March 2) 2009 by 20 Austin-based liberty-lovers and classical conservatives. Our bi-weekly meetings include speeches, impromptu talks, and evaluations (speeches are evaluated by other club members). Sometimes we talk about heavy topics, and sometimes we're a little more light-hearted. But we always have fun! Though we strive to be a haven for conservatives and libertarians to freely express their beliefs and hone their speaking abilities all opinions are welcome. Come mix it up with us!
